The West Midlands Tax Group 6 October 2022
This is to say thank you to all attendees at our first networking event for The West Midlands Tax Group (WMTG) on 6 October 2022 held at our offices in Birmingham.
The main objective was to not only provide a networking platform but also business development opportunities, knowledge and learning and to make it fun amongst tax and accountancy professionals.
It was great meeting you all, we had a good turnout of 15 attendees and hope for more for the next event. It was a fantastic opportunity to put names to faces, as well as catching up with some old friends. There were positive contributions from all speakers and the event raised a number of tax and accountancy related issues providing plenty of food for thought for the future.
The main objective for the networking event was to create a safe space for likeminded individuals to network and share their thoughts and experiences which we believe was achieved. A number of attendees provided positive feedback on the day and followed it up with further thoughts and ideas on how the WMTG can evolve going forward.

The next networking event for WMTG is being planned for Thursday 9 February 2023. The location will depend on confirmed numbers but for now it will be held at Housman Consulting, Suite 314, 69 Steward Street, Birmingham, B18 7AF.
